Zain is launching a new business competition, in association with Cubical Services and Small Businesses. This will be a business competition inviting participants to submit their business ideas, including their personal information and the details about what their idea is.
Participants can apply online through our portal www.zaingreatidea.com or can submit their proposed ideas by dropping a sealed envelope into one our four drop boxes, which will be placed in four of Zain branches:
- Salmiya
- Shuweikh (HQ)
- Airport
- Mishref
The envelope would need to include the participant’s name, contact info, business name and the category it falls under.
The categories (which will be there for your choosing if you apply online as well) are:
- Health and education
- Technology and communication
- Industrial and petrochemical
- Environmental and recycling
- Food and beverage
- Other (please specify)
People will have from May 8th until June 6th to apply; afterwards, a specially selected panel of judges will choose 10 winners once the period of submissions is over.
The winners will receive a contract with Cubical Services which will provide them with the space and resources they will need to realize their business’ potential. In addition, the winners will receive support of up to KD 400,000, depending on the needs of the businesses.
