Bye Nour away to Paris!

Nour's friend arranged a bye bye party for her since she's leaving to Paris for 2 months "internship." the snack bar had cold bites like cheese. They wanted to have the French setting on the table so they had wine looking bottles on the table "filled with juice". They also had huge hanging lanterns. 

Fake lashes all the way!

I'm beginning to like the idea of false eye lashes They are so artistic especially for parties like halloween or just a crazy party where u have to dress up. Some have feathers, crystals and dangling things. It's a cool idea I'll get one soon and take pics to post them :D!

Candle Forks

While I was in Selfridges I saw this cool thing "Light Bites" It's 2 in 1, fork and a candle! You can have one slice of cake and dig the fork in it with the candle, eat and celebrate!! Tooth pickup is also a clever idea for toothpicks storage.

Chinese new yr is on 3rd of Feb. this was displayed in Selfridges, the rabbits r so cute!

Tea party from the windows!

My new obsessions are tea cup and cake stands! I passed by fortnum and mason display and it was AMAZING! Beautifully decorated with gigantic butterfly designed cupboard that had food, tea cups and plates inside it. It seriously inspiring! All u need to make a tea party is displayed, even the decor.

Dining in beautiful places make u want to eat more, to me it's important to have a nice setting when ur eating especially when there are guests around. These pictures portray exactly what I mean but for special occasions/ events that are formal like receptions. The technique Taylor Creative Inc. used is to have simple seating and beautify it with flowers and candles in the middle. 

John Lewis bedrooms

As I was walking down Oxford St. I saw those cute kid's bedrooms. They look so creative and fun. They all have an identity attached to them. It's a really good idea to design ur kids bedroom according to their personality, they'll like it more this way. All of these r simple but the creative side of them is what makes us look twice.

Flowers in paper bag

Flowers in paper bag look so good "1st image." It's a nice way to present flowers instead of a vase. 

The 2nd pic has writing on the paper bag which is also a clever idea, instead of attaching a card u can just write on the paper bag, it's a cute thoughtful idea. 

Framed dessert table "WOW!"

This is a very unique dessert table! So classy and elegant, I love love love the frame idea! Having the cakes behind it as if it's a portrait, so pretty. This was made by Principal planner. The flowers are gorgeous 

A lounge that reminded me of a wedding

I went to Mamounia Lounge in Knightsbridge and it totally reminded me of a wedding. It's beautifully designed, the wallpaper, lighting, toilet, sofas all look great. This set can be totally used in a reception but placed in a different order to suit the venue. My fav. was the toilet! It seriously looks like a toilet designed for a reception. The place had dim lights so I had to use flash to show the details.

Valentine's day inspiration!

LMG Events and Chudleigh Weddings  created this photo shoot for inspiration, whether its for a wedding on valentine's day or a valentine's party. The macaroons look so yummy! I also love the roses in different shades of pink. The idea of having pillows under the display table is clever, it makes it look fuller.

Valentine's flowers

Valentine's day is coming up and I found some basic designs of flowers for this occasion. I think filling the vase with heart candies look so nice "last pic." When ppl think of valentines day they think of red, it's a red day but u can choose other soft colors and design it with hearty things " candy, toys, heart balloon that can be attached to the bouquet etc. " Use any color u want but give it the valentines day feel.
